Our First Home

So as I'm sure you have already seen... Josh and I have some big news.

We just purchased OUR FIRST HOME!

And I can honestly say this process has been the perfect mix of stress and excitement (okay, maybe a LOT of stress). For starters, we never expected this process to be so quick. We found this house only the second weekend we went out to showings. We had mentally prepared ourselves to spend months looking, so to find it that soon was a little overwhelming. We learned quickly that house shopping is an emotional rollercoaster, so looking back maybe we are lucky to have found "the one" so fast. Josh and I believe that whatever is meant to be always seems to have a way of working out. So we have been using that mindset to stay positive through this stressful process. 

Quick shout out to our amaaazing realtor, Katie Broskey with Keller Williams. She has been awesome and so helpful from start to finish! She always responded to us so quickly and was great with answering all of our questions (and trust me, we had a lot). I would DEF recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!

Immediately we were drawn to the charm of this house. It needs a little love, but overall it as some good bones. We are planning to "officially" move in by the end of the month. So currently the house is almost completely empty for us to do some work, but good thing we have some good lawn chairs (; These are the only pictures we have for now, but through the upcoming months I plan to share a little about our journey turning this house into a home.
